Welcome to Pace Illumination, where timeless sophistication meets thoughtful design. Nestled in the heart of Chicago, we are a privately owned and operated lighting manufacturer dedicated to crafting enduring, contemporary lighting fixtures tailored for any application.

Our story begins in 1947, when two men partnered to start a machine tool business. They named it Western Tool And Die Werks and it grew to become one of the largest suppliers of customized machine tools in the country. From electric and natural gas stoves to children’s toys, Windex pump-spray bottles, as well as, Campbell’s soup and Pepsi soda cans, Western Tool was the “go-to” place for complex, automated machines. In the early 1990s we began manufacturing high-volume wire harnesses, wall outlets, appliance outlets, extension cords and a variety of lamp sockets. It is these core competencies that have guided us to become the company we are today.

We believe that true luxury lies in the details, and that's why each and every one of our fixtures is meticulously made-to-order, reflecting over 75 years of masterful craftsmanship. Each product that bears our name undergoes rigorous testing and inspection, ensuring not only industry compliance but also a relentless pursuit of excellence that consistently exceeds expectations.
